Celebration Largest Cruise Ship on Lake of the Ozarks!

Over 80 feet in length with a 20 Ft beam (width) and a draft of 4.5 feet.

The ship was built in Lacrosse Wisconsin by Skipperliner it was launch in In 1997 in the Lake. Celebration was brought to the Lake from Wisconsin by truck in two sections, the hull & main deck on one truck, the top deck on second truck and additional equipment on a third truck. The trip took over a week as special permits and an escort were required as the convoy crossed the states between Wisconsin and Missouri.

Once at the lake the top deck was “married” to the main deck and Welded in place then launched at Shawnee Bend Access ramp.
Celebration is constructed of marine grade steel and powered by 2 Caterpillar 3119 marine diesel engines with each engine generating 205 horsepower.  Onboard electrical generation is provided by a 50 KW. Sanford generator powered by a Cummins 6BTA diesel engine.

Celebration is a United States Coast Guard inspected vessel certified to carry 149 passengers and 7 crew. Annual inspections of the ship are required and the crew must satisfactorily preform safety drills including Fire, Man Overboard and Abandon Ship.
